Privacy Policy

How Biogroupe processes your personal data on the KARMA website, in accordance with the GDPR.

Preamble

This privacy policy explains how Biogroupe, publisher of the KARMA website, collects and processes your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act ("Informatique et Libertés").

The data controller is Biogroupe, 11 rue Robert Surcouf, 22430 Erquy, France. For any questions relating to the protection of your data, please write to us at info@biogroupe.com.

Data Collected

Depending on your browsing and your interactions with us, we may collect:

  • data submitted via the contact form: name, email address and the content of your message.

Important: please do not send us sensitive data (particularly health data) via the form, unless absolutely necessary.

Purposes and Legal Basis

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

  • to respond to your requests via the contact form (legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you);

Mandatory Nature of Data

Fields marked as mandatory in the form are necessary to process your request. Failing this, we may not be able to respond to it.

Data Recipients

Your data is intended for authorised personnel within Biogroupe. It may be shared with our service providers acting as processors (hosting provider, form tool, email service, audience measurement), only to the extent necessary and in accordance with our instructions. It may also be transmitted to third parties where required by law or for the defence of our rights.

Transfers Outside the European Union

We prefer service providers located within the European Union. If some are located outside the EU/EEA, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are put in place (standard contractual clauses, adequacy decision) to ensure a level of protection in compliance with the GDPR.

Retention Periods

We keep your data for periods proportionate to the purposes:

  • requests via the contact form: the time necessary for processing, then up to 3 years for relationship follow-up purposes;

Your Rights

In accordance with the regulations, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, opposition, restriction and portability, as well as the right to define directives relating to the fate of your data after your death.

To exercise these rights, contact us at info@biogroupe.com, specifying the subject of your request and, if necessary, enclosing a proof of identity (solely to prevent identity theft). You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

Security

Biogroupe implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
